The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to halt the streaming of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Hindi movie 'Jhund' on the Over the Top (OTT) platform.A bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao, BR Gavai and AS Bopanna said its order of May 5 on which the release of the movie on the OTT platform would continue have been permitted.It also directed the Telangana High Court to consider the revision petition filed by Hyderabad-based filmmaker Nandi Chinni Kumar, who alleged copyright violation, immediately after the summer vacation.Earlier, the bench had stayed the Telangana High Court order which had stayed the release of the movie on OTT. A staff member at one of megastar Amitabh Bachchan's bungalows has tested positive for COVID-19, a BMC official said Wednesday. In a blog post Tuesday, Amitabh Bachchan informed that he is dealing with some "domestic COVID situations", saying he will connect with his fans later. The BMC official said that out of 31 staff members of both of the veteran star's bungalows, Pratiksha and Jalsa, one tested positive during the routine COVID-19 tests. Routine COVID-19 tests of the staffers were conducted from Amitabh Bachchan's team, the officer added. "The staff has been quarantined at CCC-2 (COVID Care Center-2) of the BMC," he said. He further added that the positive staff is asymptomatic. Another senior official said that as per the guidelines they have followed COVID-19 protocol that includes contact tracing, testing and home quarantine of close contacts. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Friday said he has received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Taking to official blog, the 78-year-old actor revealed that every member of his family, except son Abhishek Bachchan, have received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine. "Vaccination done... All well... Did COVID test for family and staff yesterday... results came today... All good, all negative... So done the vaccine," Amitabh Bachchan wrote. "All family done except Abhishek .. he be on location and shall do it on return soon in a few days." The veteran actor also posted a picture of him receiving the vaccine at a vaccine centre. Abhishek Bachchan has been filming for his upcoming social comedy "Dasvi" in Agra. The actor completed the shooting on Thursday.
