Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd says 'no purpose' in building Kedarnath leg of Char Dham rail

In a major relief to passengers, the railways on Thursday issued orders to resume providing linen, blankets and curtains inside trains, a provision that was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The order also said that this would come into immediate effect for a period of six months till further instructions are issued in this regard

Asymptomatic passengers should be permitted to travel after being asked to self-monitor for 14 days, the ministry said
