It was vintage MS Dhoni on display as he scored 16 off the last four balls against Jaydev Unadkat to win the game for Chennai Super Kings by three wickets. In the final over, 17 runs were needed, but Dwaine Pretorious got out of the very first ball, and on the second ball, only a single was taken by Bravo to give Dhoni only four balls to win the game and he did it. With this loss at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai Indians have now lost their seventh consecutive match this season and are yet to open their account.
Earlier in the evening, thanks to a half-century by Tilak Varma, Mumbai Indians managed to get to 155 in their 20 overs even as all the big stars failed miserably once again for the team from the west coast.

Moeen Ali and Chris Jordan have been left out by Chennai Super Kings and they have included New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Snatner and South African Dwaine Pretorious in their place.
As for Mumbai Indians, they have brought in two debutants in Australian pacer Riley Meredith and Indian domestic spinner Hrithik Shiokeen. While Meredith will play in place of Tymal Mills, Shokeen has been included in place of Murugan Ashwqin who has failed to impress so far.
