Asian Games LIVE Updates:
On Day 10 (October 3) of the 2023 Asian Games, India's ace pugilist Lovlina Borgohain won her semi-final bout in the women's 75kg to advance to the final and book her place in the Paris Olympics as well. Salam Sunil Singh and Arjun Singh won the first medal of the day as they bagged bronze in the men's Canoe double 1000m sprint race. India's men's cricket team beat Nepal by 23 runs in the quarterfinal to enter the semi-final. Preeti Pawar settled for bronze in the women's 54kg boxing event after she lost her semi-final match. India defeated Bangladesh 55-18 in men's kabaddi group match. All eyes will now be on the Indian athletes as they look to add more medals from track and field events. Two Indian men boxers- Narender Berwal and Sachin Siwach will be in action later on as well. Indian Badminton contingent will be in action throughout the day in men's and women's singles, mixed doubles, and men's doubles throughout the day. Indian archers, squash players and canoe athletes also look to progress to the next round in their respective matches line-up.

Asian Games Live Updates | Men’s Chess- India draw with Iran
The Indian men’s classic chess team recorded their second draw, earning two points against Iran. They earlier drew with Uzbekistan. They are also second in the pool after five rounds.
