AT&T, Apple, Google work on 'robocall' crackdown

More than 30 major technology companies are joining the US government to crack down on automated, prerecorded telephone calls that regulators have labelled a "scourge."AT&T, Google parent Alphabet, Apple, Verizon Communications and Comcast are among the members of the "Robocall Strike Force," which will work with the US Federal Communications Commission.
