Delhi coronavirus update: Capital reports 4,116 new cases, 36 deaths

Delhi reported 4,116 new COVID-19 cases and 36 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Delhi government's data on Saturday.The COVID tally reached 3,52,520 cases, including 3,19,828 recoveries/discharges/migrations and 6225 deaths. The active cases in the national capital stand at 26,467.15,229 RT-PCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 40,232 rapid antigen tests were conducted today.With 53,370 new COVID-19 infections, India's total cases surged to 78,14,682 on Saturday while with 650 new deaths the death toll stands at 1,17,956, as per the Union Health Ministry.The total active cases are 6,80,680 after a decrease of 14,829 in the last 24 hours while the total cured cases are 70,16,046 with 67,549 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra coronavirus update: State records over 6,400 new cases

The state on Saturday reported 6,417 new Covid-19 cases and 137 deaths, according to the state's Public Health Department

As many as 1,852 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths have been reported from Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, the state health department informed on Saturday.With this, the total number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1,84,422, including 17,100 active cases and 1,65,496 recoveries.So far, 1,826 deaths have been reported from the state.Meanwhile, With 53,370 new COVID-19 cases, India's total cases surged to 78,14,682 on Saturday, including 6,80,680 active cases, 70,16,046 recoveries, and 43,015 deaths.

Surat's tally has increased to 34,356, while the death toll has risen by three to reach 1,005

Chandigarh coronavirus update: 2 more deaths, 57 new cases reported in UT

The death of two more persons due to coronavirus pushed the toll to 216 in Chandigarh while 57 new cases took the infection tally to 13,977 on Saturday. There are 674 active cases in the city as of now, as per a medical bulletin. It said that a total of 78 patients were discharged after they recovered from infection, taking the number of cured persons to 13,087. A total of 1,00,797 samples have been taken for testing so far and of them, 86,213 tested negative while reports of 116 samples were awaited, as per the bulletin.

Ahmedabad coronavirus update: 177 new cases reported, 133 discharged, 2 die

The number of -19 cases in Gujarat's Ahmedabad reached 41,281 with the addition of 177 new cases, while two patients succumbed to the infection during the day

Tamil Nadu coronavirus update: Less than 3,000 cases added, 4,024 recover

Signalling a further slide in daily fresh infections, Tamil Nadu on Saturday recorded 2,886 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the tally to 7,06,136

Rajasthan coronavirus update: 1,852 fresh cases take state tally to 184,422

Rajasthan recorded 1,852 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking its tally to 1,84,422, while 12 more fatalities pushed the death toll to 1,826

Karnataka coronavirus update: Over 700,000 recoveries so far, 4,471 new cases

The state has reported 4,471 new cases and 52 related fatalities, taking the total number of infections to 7,98,378 and death toll to 10,873
