TaMo presents Altroz to 24 athletes who missed out on bronze in Tokyo 2020

Tata Motors on Thursday handed over keys of its premium hatchback Altroz to Indian athletes who narrowly missed the bronze medal in the recently held Tokyo Olympics. The auto major honored 24 Olympians across categories such as Hockey, Wrestling, Golf, Boxing, and Discuss throw. An Altroz will be handed over to each athlete, in the High Street Gold colour to mark his or her gold standard efforts, the automaker noted. "We are extremely proud of our athletes for the sheer commitment and the indomitable spirit they showed at the recently held Tokyo Olympics and it is my honour to share the same platform with them today. Resonating their spirit and acknowledging their hard work, we are ecstatic to present to them the Tata Altroz," Tata Motors President (Passenger Vehicle Business Unit) Shailesh Chandra said in a statement. Tata Motors to launch mini SUV 'Punch' this festive season

Homegrown auto major Tata Motors on Monday said it will launch its mini SUV Punch in the ongoing festive season. Punch is based on the H2X concept, which Tata Motors had showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. It will be positioned below the company's compact SUV Nexon and is expected to hit the market around Diwali this year. Slated for "national launch this festive season", Tata Motors in a statement said Punch will offer a mix of "tough utility with sporting dynamics". It, however, did not disclose further details. Tata Motors President Passenger Vehicle Business Unit Shailesh Chandra said, "Tata PUNCH, as the name suggests, is an energetic vehicle with a capability to go anywhere". Tata Motors drives in Tiago NRG with price starting at Rs 6.57 lakh

Tata Motors on Wednesday said it has expanded the Tiago range with the launch of a new sporty trim, Tiago NRG, with price starting at Rs 6.57 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new sporty version of the hatchback comes with high ground clearance, bigger tyres, body cladding and roof rails to give it a SUV look. The Tiago NRG is powered by 1.2 litre petrol powertrain (86 PS power) which comes mated to five speed manual and AMT (automated manual transmission) transmission. The model has a four star safety rating by Global NCAP. "Truly energetic just like its name, the NRG fits well with the growing trend of bringing to market more SUV like vehicles. Tata Motors increases passenger vehicle prices by 0.8% effective Aug 3

Tata Motors on Monday said it has increased prices of its passenger vehicles by 0.8 per cent with effect from August 3. The Mumbai-based auto major, which sells models like Nexon and Harrier, will increase prices of its passenger vehicles on an average of 0.8 per cent depending on the variant and model, Tata Motors said in a statement. The company noted that it would offer protection from the price increase to vehicles that will be retailed on or before August 31. For the well-being of its business and supporting ecosystem, the company had recently announced that it has set in motion a comprehensive Business Agility Plan' to protect and serve the interests of its customers, dealers and suppliers. Last week, the automaker had noted that it is looking to increase prices of its entire range of passenger vehicles to offset the steep rise in procurement cost of essential materials like steel and precious metals.
